my donk play?

is this a fold. im thinking what hands can i beat after i get called on flop n turn. then i remember what a freind said in limpins post. am i giving villians too much credit. what line should i play?

Flop: i think it was "A" clubs "5" hrts "3" clubs.

Also learning and wondering, but it seems to me that you don't want to get into any major confrontations with A8 until you have to.

If your gonna raise preflop, isn't 85 way to small with mp limper?

Unlike everyone else, i could care less how you got to the river. You ask what to do on river, thats what i answer to.

You win: you have ~t1600
You lose: you're done
You fold: you have ~t550
(i dont know how much you bet on flop)

I think, for me, i call. If he flips the case A, or a set i type "gg" Winning a third of the time makes it worth it. You win more than that im sure. Probably closer to half.

You ask "what hands can i beat?" Well, when a second ace hits board, he is likely to think his PP is good. You also beat a smattering of bizarre 2 pairs, gutshot str8 draws, missed flushes, lol, maybe even A7? I think theres enough possible that you can call even with a bad feeling about it. You DO have trips, even if it isnt well kicked. Was this an $11?

yah its an 11.. i wasnt thinking about him having a pp.. what made me upset is that i folded and he showed a st8 draw .. [img]/images/graemlins/crazy.gif[/img] i dont understand his play. i had a feeling that if i was to have the best hand here i would need to push because he could push with almost anything. as fish do

here is a case where a fish pushed with a st8 draw on river.. figures
