Tough night and wanting to make sure I wasn\'t being too stupid
Well, just had to stop after a rough night in some SNGs. 0-11 to be exact, but I know you don't care. Anyway, just wanting to make sure I wasn't spewing on a few of my bust outs. Any advice or comments on these would be appreciated, as I think I'm a pretty decent player, but really trying to take it a bit further now, and this is the best way I know how to do it.
1) 4th hand of a 30+3 2 tabler SNG on PS, so no reads. PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t20 (9 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx MP2 (t1500) MP3 (t1480) Hero (t1470) Button (t1520) SB (t1540) BB (t1500) UTG (t1440) UTG+1 (t1550) MP1 (t1500) Preflop: Hero is CO with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. UTG calls t20, 4 folds, Hero raises to t80, Button calls t80, SB calls t70, 1 fold, UTG calls t60. Flop: (t340) 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (4 players) SB checks, UTG checks, Hero bets t100, Button calls t100, SB folds, UTG folds. Turn: (t540) 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero checks, Button bets t200, Hero calls t200. River: (t940) Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero bets t300, Button raises to t1140, Hero calls t790 (All-In). Final Pot: t3170 Results in white below: Hero has Ad Kh (three of a kind, kings). Button has 4s 4h (full house, fours full of kings). Outcome: Button wins t3170. 2) 20 table SNG. I've been ridiculously card dead, playing 2 of first 55 hands. I finally see a pair. Lots of money out there by the time it gets to me. Is the push OK? And furthermore, what about his call? PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t600 (5 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx MP (t6349) Button (t14794) SB (t7325) Hero (t3597) UTG (t4680) Preflop: Hero is BB with 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. UTG raises to t4630, 3 folds, Hero calls t2947 (All-In). Flop: (t7777) 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players, 1 all-in) Turn: (t7777) K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players, 1 all-in) River: (t7777) 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players, 1 all-in) Final Pot: t7777 Results in white below: Hero has 8h 8c (one pair, eights). UTG has Qh Kd (one pair, kings). Outcome: UTG wins t7777. 3) Last one for now. $10, 5 table SNG, 28 people left and my stack is about average. No noticeable reads on villian here. I thought this was a no brainer push... is that right? And would most of you call the preflop raise if you were him? PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t150 (7 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx SB (t5765) BB (t3295) UTG (t1495) MP1 (t3315) MP2 (t1725) CO (t950) Hero (t2485) Preflop: Hero is Button with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. Flop: (t1225) J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players) BB bets t600, Hero raises to t1985, BB calls t1385.
