Well, since my laptop was stolen a couple of weeks ago and I lost all my result-tracking spreadsheets for anything prior to July, I see that I'm at a whopping 5.5% ROI on my last 80 STTs. that includes dropping 12 buy-ins over my last 20 games and the (statistically) worst bad beat I've taken yet in a STT - I lost as a 93% fave pre-flop. but hey, who's complaining

It's still better than a negative ROI.

92% is kiddie pool stuff. I lost with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] vs A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] when I went all in and was called on a J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] flop yesterday.

I did manage to win with A2 vs AA when HU to win a SnG today so there is some balance in the universe.

Running sevens. You can't beat a good pattern mapper.

Yeah, I've gradually reordered my definition of a bad-beat.

Total n00b (last october):

K2 vs. J7 (wtf I had a better hand)

But I lost enough times in this situation to know better. Then I got to

Still n00b (this spring):

KQ vs. K3 (you idiot! I had you dominated)

But damn, that loses like a third of the time , so I evloved further.

Starting to figure things out (beginning of the summer):

QQ vs. QJ (OMG I can't lose!)

But this didn't hold up a fair amount too, so I got to this:

Jaded and Bitter

KK vs. AA on KK2 flop

or

AA vs. JsTs on AAKs flop.

So that's my current definition. A bad beat occurs only when your opponent needs the turn and the river to be two specific cards. I think that's about the only time I get pissed off now.

So badly that I wanna make a thread about it.

Over my first 201 tournaments($11s), my ROI is -8%. I might be running bad, but I probably just suck
