Default FFL is over....let\'s talk fantasy baseball

Who are your top 10 players for next year's draft? Here are mine (I may be missing a few players...this is off the top of my head):

1. A-Rod - Stock just went up with Damon signed, RBI total could go even higher, although SB's may drop

2. Pujols

3. Vlad - I think too much of a health risk to take # 1 or 2

4. Tejada

5. Manny - depends where he lands...

6. Texiera - keeps getting better and better and better

7. Soriano - Could be lower if he loses 2B eligibility

8. Santana - will continue to dominate

9. Cabrera - great keeper

10. Crawford - I think he could hit 20 - 25 HR to go with 50+ SB

IMO, just missing: Ortiz (losing Damon/Manny will hurt), Carpenter, Ichiro, Abreu, Sheffield

I agree with almost everything you said, except for Santana. There isn't any pitcher I would consider taking in the top 10 (except for the Unit and Pedro in their primes). I'd move Ortiz or Abreu into the top 10. Tejada is also a bit too high IMO.

That said, a couple more great seasons from Santana and I'd reconsider my stance on him.

Soriano will rot in Washington...that place is a hitter's graveyard.

Abreu needs to be in the top ten, he was having an MVP season until he decided to go and hit 561 HR's in the All Star Derby. Apparently that just tired him out for the rest of the season. Hopefully he learned his lesson.
