I would consider staking Enright, but if forced to make a decision, Affleck sweeps.

Would you rather stake John Bonneti or Ben Affleck?

Affleck or Tom McEvoy?

Affleck or Brad Daugherty?

Affleck or David Williams?

Affleck or Barbara Enright?

Affleck or Moneymaker?

[/ QUOTE ]

I'll take Affleck over three of them.

[/ QUOTE ]

Williams is the only one, and that's a maybe. All the others have a proven track record, however short. Affleck has 1 big win, period.

Bonetti i'd take over BA 100 times out of 100. Not even close.

Mcevoy is EASY over BA.

Daugherty is EASY over BA.

Williams is not so easy, but he DOES have a WPT 2nd shortly after WSOP 2nd, so maybe he's not as bad as some of his play on ESPN looked.

Enright I've heard is a great, aggressive player, and would take her over BA if I had to choose, but I don't know how strong a pick this would be.

Moneymaker over BA pretty easily too. He DOES have WSOP under his belt, plus a 2nd in WPT.

All said, BA seems to be a solid player, but no better than hundreds if not thousands of other players out there now, no matter how "world class" Annie says he is.

That said, I have zero specific info on BA's game.

Plus, as we all know, any guy with tons of money can just buy in to a biggie and have titles thrown at him, right Paul?

EH, why am I asking you. You're not even a real pro. Neither is Barry Greenstein then for the same reason....

This a trick post or some kind of new math, Paul? Three?

[/ QUOTE ]

Sorry: I meant that I think Affleck is better than three of those players.

That's interesting; I said I'd taken Ben over three of those players but David wasn't one of the three.

Granted since I've played with all of them I'm applying somewhat different information than you are. I don't care about results when figuring out who to book, I only care about how good I think they are.

The triumverate you speak of is more than likely Daugherty, Enright, and Moneymaker.

A couple are close, though. I might take Chris over Affleck. Don't know anything about Dougherty (or even how to spell his name), so this is in the close category for me. Williams probably close. Rest, not close. I've played with the others...

I didn't say I thought Affleck was better than all of those people. I was just answering the question asked.

There’s a very funny Dana Carver sketch impersonating John McLoughlin talking about poker hiding somewhere in this thread.
