I think Tommy didn't play in this game for one reason, and no one has even speculated on any reason.

Tommy is 100% anti-TiLT. This guy was trying to put Tommy on TiLT before he even sat down. Tommy was a: scared of TiLTing and b: wanted to show this guy who has control over Tommy's emotions.

[/ QUOTE ]

As I've grown a little older, I find I want less and less drama in my life.

There was recently a beautiful and very horny little mexican woman in my life, but the drama that came with her made the package well, less appealing.

In general, I find I avoid people and situations where drama has a higher than average probability of appearing.

Perhaps Tommy feels the same? (as I seriously doubt this guy could put Tommy on tilt)

I'd doubt you'd here a professional like Chip Reese saying "I can't play with this tilting [censored]".... give me a break... quit making excuses for him....

What they really need are better strategy and hand reading skills, neither of which I think Tommy could teach well.

This is the funniest thing I have read all week.

Greenstein's book costs $30, not $5K.

[/ QUOTE ]

Compare apples and apples - I wonder what Greenstein would charge for the same amount of time that Tommy gives...? Certainly not $30*

I'm not one to toot my own horn, but my response to Tommy's post is the best one in the thread. I'll let others elaborate.

[/ QUOTE ]

I won't elaborate, but I will agree.

The post was filled with 'sweetness and light'.

[ QUOTE ]
She came in through the bathroom window
Protected by a silver spoon
But now she sucks her thumb and wanders
By the banks of her own lagoon

Didn't anybody tell her?
Didn't anybody see?
Sunday's on the phone to Monday,
Tuesday's on the phone to me

She said she'd always been a dancer
She worked at 15 clubs a day
And though she thought I knew the answer
Well I knew what I could not say.

And so I quit the police department
And got myself a steady job
And though she tried her best to help me
She could steal but she could not rob

Didn't anybody tell her?
Didn't anybody see?
Sunday's on the phone to Monday,
Tuesday's on the phone to me
Oh yeah.

[/ QUOTE ]

try to read beatles without hearing the tunes/music in
your head. this one, for instance. do it several
times, slowly. then tell me that they don't sound
like they were written by some foreign non-english
speaker who got hold of a book of english phrases
and cliches--and those are the better ones.
