Default My blog

Okay....so I've decided to go the way of metetron (and others) and start a blog.

bobspokerblog.blogspot.com

Basically (as I explain there) I am VERY aware that I babble and ramble on and on WAY TOO MUCH on this forums.

I like cranking out whatever random thoughts I have while multi-tabling away...helps keep my brain active and fill the time.
but I think it's unfair of me to hog so many freaking discussions all the time.
A friendly debate of some issue or other is going on and here I come in with some 1000 word essay that may, or may not, be related to the actual original issue at hand.

when the caffeine gets going I just can't be stopped it seems.

So....for those that want to read even more of my random crap than you've already been privy to on 2+2 then here you go.
And those that wouldn't mind seeing me get out of the way just a tad may get their wish.

I've written A LOT in the blog already.
I wanted to see if I had the drive to get it going before I directed anyone to it.

I don't promise to keep it up....but I don't promise to NOT keep it up either.
It's something I might enjoy doing and if you enjoy reading LOTS and LOTS and LOTS of random stupidity about poker, sports, and other stuff then feel free to drop by.

Warning - most of the content now just involves my whining from when I was getting completely clobbered....and my joyesness over a wild winning-streak.
I will add more stuff about me and other topics that may or may not have some interest for someone.

in the end, it could actually give an idea of the life of a working internet-poker 'pro' (or whatever the hell I am).

Also - if you do stop by feel free to reply to the posts there or say "hi" or whatever it is people do on these blog things.

Just a quick question:
Why would do you want to spread the idea that you can make a good living as a poker pro online? Why share your methods?

I was personally inspired by the David Ross journals. I started taking poker more seriously after reading about what he made and his overall approach. The result is the breeding of yet another shark... well, non-fish at least - but you get my point.

I always enjoy reading your posts by the way even though they are long. I am only attacking the idea of spreading the word that you can make good money playing poker with the right approach. It is just too attractive an idea for many people.

Most people do not have what it takes to make a living playing poker. The might give it a shot but most will drop a bankroll or two and then get a job.

It is my understanding if it weren't for "Professional" Gambler's, there wouldn't be enough cabbies to keep Las Vegas moving.
