Default anyone else like my line on this qq hand?

Didn't have too many hands on this guy (< 100) but his stats were 17/3 at the time. I'd seen him go all-in once against a re-reraise on the flop but haven't seen him show a hand down yet.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (10 handed) converter

Hero ($419.65)
BB ($105.23)
UTG ($134.35)
UTG+1 ($41.43)
UTG+2 ($71.57)
MP1 ($58.5)
MP2 ($83.45)
MP3 ($121.82)
CO ($105.44)
Button ($153.72)

Preflop: Hero is SB with Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. Hero posts a blind of $0.5.
UTG calls $1, 6 folds, Button calls $1, Hero (poster) raises to $4.5, 1 fold, UTG calls $4, Button folds.

Flop: ($12) 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets $10, UTG calls $10.

Turn: ($32) 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, UTG bets $25, Hero raises to $50, UTG calls $25.

River: ($132) K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, UTG calls $69.35 (All-In), Hero folds.

Final Pot: $201.35

I was just thinking I'd try something new here. Since I thought he was a tight player his limp utg told me something like jacks or 10s was more likely than kings or aces. Once he bet the turn big and only called my reraise that definitely made me think jacks more likely. But I'm really kicking myself for not pushing the turn, because the river put me on a very tough decision. A flush draw could have played it the same way, but jacks or 10s could bet it like that realizing the only way they can win is to make a bet (maybe thinking I had AK). Well hopefully you guys tell me it was a good fold, that was infuriating =\

lead 1/2 pot on the turn, check-call a safe card on the river.

not sure what the turn minCR accomplishes. and river fold seems ok.

I think you need to bet out on this turn. Half pot at least. I don't think the check raise accomplishes anything

I think you have to fold the river as well as it is too likely that you are beaten here.

Yah I agree with all of you guys, just standard play is probably best there. Like I said I was trying something new... I guess I thought I could fool jacks or 10s into giving me more money with the check on the turn. But in reality, if they are bad enough to fall for that, they're bad enough to just call a regular bet.

Thanks for the help,
Dommer

"Since I thought he was a tight player his limp utg told me something like jacks or 10s was more likely than kings or aces." A tight player might limp with any pocket pair and call any reasonable raise. You shouldnt rule out 22, 33, 99. He could also be one of those tricky bastards who limp with pocket aces.

I kinda hate the size of your CR on the turn. Either put him all in or bet out for like 1/2 the pot. Given his bet on the turn and your read I might have just bet the river for like 35-45. But if I checked and he pushed I would fold.
