Negotiating higher %'s from party affiliate managers?

Hi, I've been reading that it's possible that if you're an affiliate at party and proved that you're able to draw in a certain amount of customers, you can renegotiate the 20->25% deal you currently have into something better. Is this true? If so, what kind of percentages could you expect to reach and at how many customers and or how much MGR?

For now.. Not really true.. they are REALLY big on CPA instead of MGR (opposite of Empire)

yes, if you have a lot of players that is true.
