Default ACR/PR.com promo bux \'theft\'

As some of you will know, I had about $350 promo bux left at ACR after their last debacle.

They recently merged with Pokerroom and have contrived yet another attempt to take the PBs back.

When they merged with Pokerroom, they made it so I had to earn something like 4600 points for my bonus.
Not willing to deposit there (See previous 3 years for details), I had to run my $50 roll up a little.
A day later, and +$40, I had earned 65 points... not ideal, but PBs were never that easy to earn, so whatever, I figured I'd chip away when bored or tired over the next few months and gradually make a dent.

Cue the twist.

Although I got back from Vegas a week ago, I only did my site checks yesterday, and discovered they had put a deadline of one month on earning my bonus.

I got in touch with support and told them that this was physically impossible and they told me that they couldn't do anything about it.
I then contacted PR.com support and they totally ignored my question and just replied with "We are sorry you feel this way about our site" I didn't even comment on what I thought of the site in that email, in fact I didn't mention PR.com once in the mail, I just mentioned what ACR were doing.

Newer people here won't find this interesting, but I think some of the oldies will find it amusing that ACR are now involving PR.com in their continuous attempts to take back the PBs that they gave out so freely.

FWIW I have contacted the KGC on the matter.... I'm sure that will provide more amusement in the coming days.

Please, no more. I'm unable to breath because I'm laughing so hard. I told you that they were a bunch of wankers, Lori. I take little joy in being right about this.

Enjoy it, I'll probably actually be better off without having to worry about the world's worst bonus any more, I just figured contacting one Mickey Mouse organisation about another one would get me at least a little entertainment value.

I'm afraid you are giving way more credit here than reality suggests. Think Wiley Coyote and ACME.

I don't wish to slight the many fine players here that got their start on zero money bonus whoring that short-sighted site. You know how many pesos it would take to buy up all the outstanding Bonus Buxs? All of them. It was a pyramid thingy. We all knew it.

Don't frighten us with your pedantic ways Lorinda. Your devotion to that ancient promotion has not helped you conjure up the original Promo Bucks, or given you clairvoyance enough to find Torstyn Cole.

"Pokerroom, they're on Pokerroom"

"There, you see, she can be reasonable. Continue with the promotion. Whore at will"

"What?"

"You're far too trusting. Pokerroom is too obscure to make an effective demonstration, but don't worry, we will eradicate that bonus soon enough"

(I find your lack of faith disturbing)

Lori, I agree they are shady by doing this but havent you had a year+ to work them off? How many people could possibly still have old PB's?

I was oinly vagueky aware they stayed in business during this time. I remember they mentioned they were taking away the old promo bucks so I fired them at a big game and lost them. Then after I had none left they announced they weren't actually taking them away (I didn't read too much of that becasue I had already thrown my away hoping to win something i could cash out with them).

Well, if all else fails I hear there's a nigerian princess who wants to give you $31 million...she just needs a little help setting up the transfer.
