:Grunch:

I think this is fine, with big pairs you often tie yourself to a showdown and with the turn & river cards being blanks there is no way you are folding.

CO probably thought you were on a draw and so wanted to see what the next card was before betting again..thats the only logical reasoning i can think of behind the turn donk.
Depending on the player it may even be right to raise the turn (actually this might be the best play here), but with no reads i guess calling down is ok.

Any reads on MP2's pf tendencies on what he caps with? (e.g. just big PPs or AK or the like?)

Any reads on CO? Why is this guy waking up on the flop?

You said the game was pretty loose aggro, so I suppose I wouldn't be surprised that CO is going crazy with TP, but perhaps he flopped a OESD or two pair? If he flopped the straight or two pair, he may have been more inclined to pop on the turn.

The pot is pretty big and it seems a call down is okay here to me. Unless I have a pretty strong hand and/or reliable read, I just let LAGs bluff into me.

honestly, I'd just smooth-call the flop. here popping the turn doesn't protect your hand much 'cause a gutshot is still getting odds to call.

We're losing value by just calling. We have a huge equity edge, we need to pump this pot.

Agreed. I like the way he played it and if this is a loose agressive game, I definitely would be suprised if the CO was going crazy with top pair.

I'm in favour of a turn raise.

I would raise the turn and if 3-bet, go into check/call mode. If just called, pump it on the river.

CO's turn bet smells to me like TP not wanting to give a flushdraw a free card. I'm raising here.
