Default Calling all-in w TT

Hey guys. What do you think of this "big" all in call? There are about 150 players left at this point in Stars $10+R. 81 make that money As usual, it's a top heavy payout, though baby money isn't insignificant ($75?). Anyway, villain doubled up his short stack last rotation and has played solid in the 2 rotations I've played at this new table. That's the only info I have on the hand. Neither of the blinds are aggro. I am on the button. What do you think? Results to follow. -Dan

Converter is Your Friend

first things first. i hope you didnt play against strassa2 cuz he'll eat you alive(he posts here. only negative about him that he goes to Duke.....tool)

anyway, solid player makes an UTG raise all in with a little over 10BB, so he's not that desperate. what makes this even more interesting is that fact that he did this UTG with 8 players yet to act; his hand has to be pretty solid and you're at best a coinflip IMO. you can do math here but im too lazy and its late and i think itll tell you to fold and look for a better spot.

Fold. I'd say you're about a 55/45 dog to the widest range of hands I'd put him on. You're not getting good enough odds to call.

In the future I would end the post prior to your action so we don't actually know what you did.

Thanks for the advice guys. I'll post hands using the converter in the future. Any other opinions on this call?

In general i'd prefer pushing with TT then calling with it. You have a nice, playable stack, why waste it on a coinflip (which is something close to a best case scenario) so in other words, fold and find some steal opportunties to keep you afloat.

i'd call with JJ. TT is close. my gut tells me that QQ+ (esp AA/KK) are made much less likely by the 14x push, but i guess a clever utg could try to take advantage of that. i'd probably call.

(blind response)

I am sitting at a full table and as painful as it is to throw TT away I muck it to the AI bet. I just don't think that it is worth a coinflip at this stage of the game as he could have AA-JJ, AKs-AJs, KQs, AKo-AJo, KQo. In which case you are a coin flip underdog of 45 to 54.

Easy fold to me.

I know AppSt2004 to be a very solid player...consistent at MTTs. Watch him on Stars once in a while.
