Default go into call down mode after the flop aggression?

Knowing villian is laggy, should I push this more or go into check call mode afer this flop reraise? Typically I play these hands like this, but I don't know that it's the best way to play them...

Party Poker 1.00/2.00 Hold'em (6 handed)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
Hero raises, 3 folds, SB calls, BB calls.

Flop: (6.00 SB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB bets, BB folds, Hero raises, SB 3-bets, Hero calls.

Turn: (6.00 BB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB bets, Hero calls.

River: (8.00 BB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB bets, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 10.00 BB.

With the board the way it is I can't see you being behind very many hands here. Most likely he hit the queen with a bdfd to boot. Cap the flop and raise the turn, don't let him draw out on you.

What are you afraid of? I'd pop that river.
Before that I would let him throw money at me.

I think you need to find another raise on the turn. Don't you think SB may 3bet w. AQ, which you have murdered? What range of hands do you put him on? He didn't flop a str8, although there are draws on the turn and river, would he 3bet a str8 draw heads up? Most of the holdings that beat you are unlikely.
If he 3bets a turn raise, calls a cap, and leads the river, I might start to worry.

In retrospect this is the line I think I should have taken. I was afraid of a set after the flop, but I think that's MUTBS.

Thanks!

I was thinking villian might have a set and that put me into call down mode, but that's probably too generous for villian. 2 pair seems unlikely. Top pair or flush draw seems most likely.

If villian is on a draw I think you're right that I need to punish him while he persues this.

Thanks.

Final Pot: 10.00 BB.

SB has Qh Kh (a pair of queens.)
Hero has As Ac (a pair of aces.)
Hero wins 9.50 BB.
