Default Need an AA line.

I don't normally post AA hands but this one had me pulling my hair out with what to do.

Absolute 2/4, 6 handed. I get AA UTG and open it up. Folded to the sb who calls, the BB folds. Damn. At this stage I had no reads on the sb. Sorry.

Flop is T 9 4 rainbow. The sb checks, I bet, he check-raises, I re-raise and he caps this sucker. Oh dear.

The turn is a 4, pairing the board. He leads out.

Am I just calling down or what?

Seems kind of reckless to push too hard against an unknown. On the other hand, I can't see a set playing it this way, so one more raise is probably in order.

I would say his most likely hands are KK-JJ, QJ, T9s, AT, TT, 99. It's even possible you are against a lower pocket pair who thinks you missed the board. The turn just killed T9 so the only hands you have to fear are TT/99 - exactly 6 combinations and the super rare 44. I'd raise the turn and call down if 3-bet.

Like others have said I raise and call down if 3 bet, to me it stinks of AT or possibly KTs, I think your hand is good here. Those overpair options (JJ, QQ, KK) are also reasonably likely.

raise the turn, call down to 3bet. however, since i'm tired of playing against you in the 2/4 game why not cap all the streets and get your tight thinking self to a different limit/site? geez.

I think you raise the turn and call down if he three-bets. Also, if he checks to you on the flop you can probably risk a value bet. What hands would he play that way?

-Two pair on the flop. The most reasonable is T9 and you are ahead with aces up on the turn.

-If he called a PFR with a four in his hand, he probably made quad fours and he'll make some money off you. Lucky him. This is unlikely since they would be the two case fours. If he called with 94 or T4, you can still play a big pot against this donkey knowing full well that you'll get your money back soon. Especially with position on him.

-pairs JJ, QQ, KK. You are ahead the whole way.

-trip 9's or T's. This is possible, but again, it represents a smallish fraction of his possible hands in this situation. I mean, I've seen some otherwise reasonable players go bonkers in a blind fight.

-on that note, he could have 22, 33, 55, 66, 77, 88 or AK.
