They also need a feature that allows you to show your hand and then fold, so that people can see your big laydowns.

No, it wouldn't. Instead of villain taking it down and the whole table proceeding to the next hand, you'd have to wait while the software gave him the option to show one card, then you'd have to wait for him to pick one (or not), then you'd have to be shown the card, etc. And you just KNOW that this would be an option that all the JohnnyWPT's would be taking advantage of every other hand.

The infinitesimal increase in EV you might get for having this feature available would be strongly negated by the hands/hour lost. It would be worse than paradise's "slow roll".

I like the idea, but a devils advocate argument would be that the poker sites would lose money in rake to people who dont pay off bets because they know they will see the river anyhow.

Come again?

They'll lose money in rake because less hands will be dealt, if a player chooses to show 1 card before acting it doesn't necessarily effect whether the river will be dealt, just cuz you show a deuce doesn't mean you get to see the river for free in a heads up pot if the other guy folds cuz you just told him you had a set of deuces

He's not talking about rabbit hunting. He's talking about allowing a player to show one of his cards before mucking.
