Sucks in what way? Given that you're plan is basically to check raise all in, button somehow has to convince himself that this is a bluff in order to call, right?

So why not lead? Unless button sucks in that he is very agressive, so you can catch a bluff.

I'd "block" the river

i would like this better against a thinking player. a lot of bad players will think this is a value bet praying for a call.

I don't mind the CR here as it looks like you were on a draw and he may slim value bet you. I think I like overbetting here though as well (see my other post). It can look like a bluff and if you think button sucks, you can sell the missed flush draw bet w/ like $6-700 on the river. You will probably get a call from 2-pair or better, and may get a call from a good pair thinking you are bluffing some % of the time. Give crappy players a chance to make very large mistakes.

I like your line quite a bit, or a good old fashioned overbet like gomberg said. I take it "sucks" means he's going to bet his hand without a lot of regard for what you have. if that's what you mean, river is perfect.

i dont think a check raise all in is necessarily the intention

just depends on what villain bets

but what we can say is villain could easily have nothing

also, the check call turn line surely means villain puts you on a draw, possibly with a pair

nothing wrong with the check raise attempt

leading is bad considering the paired board and the disguised nature of your hand and villains hands, you have harder decisions with a lead

I also think this is a perfect spot for an overbet. Throw out 500 and you would be suprised what he will call with. Looks like he has a set/2 pair on the turn.
