Default $2/$4 and SSH

How much of SSH applies to $2/$4? I tried to hop up and it seemed like I began a downswing...I kept getting outdrawn. I hopped back down and things turned back to bein good. This makes me confused since I pretty much play by the book in SSH terms. I tried to adjust for tighter players. It seemed the average 2/4 table I was on had about 6 20% or less VPIP players, 1-2 20%-30% players, and 1-2 30%+ players. I figure theres less people going to the flop so high pairs and high go up in value and drawing hands go down (still situational dependent tho). What other adjustments might need to be made? I know this is a very general question but I'm wondering what adjustments others had to make when moving up from a loose crazy game to a much tighter game. I dropped 100 BB over 1500 hands when I tried to hop up...

How about semi-bluffing? I only did this with a fairly strong draw...at least a FF but mostly FF with overcards. Seemed like it always back to me raised or reraised.

I'm rebuilding at the beginner tables so I should be back in no time.
