Lol, go to www.o8poker.com, then click "tools", then click "Differences in play by limit".

There you will see empirical, factual data that clearly shows a signficant jump from $10-20 to $20-40 for both average and winning players in nearly all important PT metrics including the following: PFR, FlopAgr, TurnAgr, RiverAgr, WonWhenSawFlop. There is also a clear decrease in VPIP.

Your first post was just a shameless attempt to get to use that picture, wasn't it?

Are you using a metaphorical Fourier transform in order to express the comparison between the difference in poker limits the way a periodic function can be expressed in terms of an infinite sum of sines and cosines?

Steam,

I wouldn't be afraid of a live game at all. The players are either rocks or just downright terrible. As was said earlier, you will know the difference very quickly at the table.

I don't play live anything like I do on the computer. My Thursday night game will see 100% of the flops (ok...I throw away trips).

It's a lot slower but far far more profitable.

Good luck,

Dave

I have been on the list twice this week but the game didn't go. I plan to play this weekend.

It doesn't need to be periodic.

I've played the 5/10 Omaha Hi/Lo with Kill game at Foxwoods. In the morning it was full of rocks, but it loosens up later on in the evening, especially when goldmine Betty comes along.

She is just outright terrible. I got her heads-up and we were raising each other back and forth, and by the river I had the nut low plus my pocket Aces and a paired board. She had 10/7 in her hole and a 10/7 on the board, so she's shouting "I've got 10's and 7's!"

And I'm like "I've got the nut low and Aces and 6's"

And she responds "but I've got ten's and 7's!"

Me: "Scoooop!"
