Can you use computers well? Programming and/or tutoring are viable options.

Try to get a job where you can learn a useful trade. You could start out as a steel cutting bitch at a welding shop and eventually learn to weld. Having a good skill like this can be useful in the future.

Couldn't agree more. You will make pretty good money, pay no taxes, get paid in cash and you basically work whenever you want to. If you are interested in golf at all, you will learn a lot about the game. even if you don't like golf, you will meet a lot of interesting people, and you might even get lucky and get some connections for a job in the future.

Learn a trade: paint houses, work construction, etc... it'll pay better than any other crap job you can get, it'll get you in shape (or keep you there), and it'll give you skills that you'll use your whole life (as opposed to learning how to make sandwhiches). plus, you'll get to work outside, etc... I took a job painting when i was a teenager, and was making $30+/hr by the time i was 20- it paid for college, traveling, etc.

wtf are you thinking charging rake in a home game? that's asking for it, imo... wtf are you doing playing poker while underage, for that matter?
