Default Did the Texans throw the game?

Anybody think Houston lost on purpose? I guess they tried to get that onside kick, but by giving away a 10-point lead with 30 seconds left, they held on to the number one draft pick....

Why would you ever pick the Texans? Or was it a suicide pool and your choices were limited?

Straight up pick the winners. You've gotta pick an upset or two, and besides, my pick was looking good for 59 minutes and 30 seconds.

So glad the Texans lost. Where does 2-10 get us? I want that #1 pick.

I am almost positive you are being serious, but I hate when people imply teams lose games on purpose to get the #1 pick or to have a better matchup in the playoffs. All the men are competitors they want to win no matter what.

Once again, not implying that the OP thought this just the amount of people who actaully buy in to this never ceases to amaze me.

Yes, I know they didn't throw it. I just want someone to blame for costing me the pool!

It's foolish to believe they threw the game. A lot of the Texan players won't be on the team next year. They don't care about the NFL draft order.

This is very true. A lot of these players will be gone, Dom Capers is fighting for relevance (and another job somewhere cause he's gone too). Many on that field had plenty to play for.
