Default flopped the nuts with deep money (5/10 NL)

5/10 NL home game, 8-handed... game is generally loose-aggressive

UTG limps and villain limps UTG+1; 2 more limpers to hero who makes it 100 to go out of the SB with QQ; folded to villain who limp reraises making it 350 total, and it's folded back to hero who calls

villain is a tough, loose-aggressive player; hero has seen villain limp-reraise half a dozen times, with two hands shown: AA and 86s

hero's image is very loose-aggressive, although he has not shown any big bluffs in the last few sessions

~750 in the pot, hero and villain both have around 3k, and the flop comes Q53r; what's your plan?

I'd bet $600 and see what happens.

If he's smart enough to know that you probably need a monster to raise out of the blinds here, then I probably muck it PF.

Against a loose aggressive player I will usually slowplay and checkraise all in on the turn ( assuming a flop bet)

in general I agree, but I think there are a few factors here that making calling okay:

1) villain has demonstrated the ability to limp-reraise bluff
2) even against AA/KK hero probably has odds to draw to a set because of the deep money
3) hero has not shown any bluffs in a while, so he should have decent steal-equity post-flop

I missed the stacks - sorry. At 3k, i guess the call is OK.

BTW, if you think you're good here often enough, I wouldn't have minded a reraise out of you against this guy. I guess it just sounded like you were playing your QQ for set value, which sucks.

What if the flop had been 774? Just a tough spot to be in OOP.

What was your plan when the flop came with a bunch of low cards?

The problem with slowplaying on this board is that this is a pretty scary board for hero to be flat calling a big bet on, and he will probably give up on any bluffs on the turn.

However, if you lead, and he really does have the AA/KK that he's representing, then you are very likely to get raised on the flop. If he's really LAG, he might even come over the top with air. Then you can either come back over the top (if he can't get away from overpairs) or smooth call and punish him on later streets.

how original

really builds on what LA and ElD had to say

i like a slightly weaker lead, but thats just to encourage a bluff or to convince AA i have KK

Nobody said any of this.

I think a slightly weaker lead looks more like trapping.

This statement seems very contradictory to me. Most people don't try to bluff out KK here.
