People being carded during series?

I'm told that people usually don't get carded much in the cardrooms in Vegas. Is that true now, during the craziness of the WSOP?
I'm sure I'll get flamed for this post, but I'd like to know.

I spent 5 days in Vegas last week and got carded once; that was by a cashier at thae cage at the Wynn when I wanted to color down black chips someone had sold me for reds. I was already in a game for several hours so I'm guessing that if I said I didn't have ID I would have been alright. Overall the carding was extremely lax.

At the entrances of the Amazon room at the Rio there are people there (usually) checking ID's. Big sign that says under 21 not admitted. I wish someone would ask me for ID. [img]/images/graemlins/blush.gif[/img]

I haven't been carded once at the Rio in about 5 trips since the series started. I am young looking. And I have NEVER been carded in a vegas cardroom. I have played in about 10 different rooms with about 500 sessions. Am I even 21?

You should have no prob as I look younger than 21. I was only carded playing craps, blackjack, and other table games. I was carded at the Rio cage when getting cash for 5k chips but that's it. No one checking ID's at the Rio cardroom entrance when I was there for 2 weeks. Best of luck.
