7 handed 30/60 last night at canterbuy
The average age of the line-up was amusing at 7am this morning. Not one old person. There are definately more and more younger players getting into serious poker. I think this is why poker isn't going anywhere any time remotely soon.
Seat 1: 20ish year old kid who seemed a little rougher yet seemed like a real nice/pleasant guy who played pretty badly. Typical 3/6 player Seat 2: schneids (21 yo) Seat 3: 18 year old high-school sr who sucks at poker and is wearing his party poker visor and said he's going to play poker as a pro when he graduates and you couldn't pay him to go to school again as he hates school...doug would call this guy the typical 3/6 allstar. Seat 4: bicyclekick (22 yo) Seat 5: 30ish typical mediocre type Seat 6: Jay (19 yo lurker) Seat 7: fudge_nut (21 yo lurker) Now that I've played a lot of short-handed online, I'm liking the short games more (this wasn't really that short, but when I got there I played 5 handed for awhile.) I also like getting 5 bets in on the turn HU vs schneids. |
