Default Sorry, converter problems... What do you think??

xas Hold'em $1-$2 (real money), hand #1,250,762,659
Table Durres, 9 Sep 2005 5:44 PM ET

Seat 1: dylance
Seat 2: aces r wildx
Seat 3: TheKentock [ AS,9C ]
Seat 4: atojoe2002
Seat 5: Izotza
Seat 6: MrManic
Seat 7: ...baffle...
Seat 9: nranallo
Seat 10: kinderrock
ANTES/BLINDS
atojoe2002 posts blind ($0.50), Izotza posts blind ($1).

PRE-FLOP
MrManic folds, ...baffle... folds, nranallo folds, kinderrock folds, dylance folds, aces r wildx bets $2, TheKentock bets $3, atojoe2002 folds, Izotza folds, aces r wildx calls $1.

I thought he was trying to steal, I figured I could isolate him and play accordingly.

FLOP [board cards 2D,8S,AH ]
aces r wildx bets $1, TheKentock bets $2, aces r wildx bets $2, TheKentock calls $1.

TURN [board cards 2D,8S,AH,4H ]
aces r wildx bets $2, TheKentock calls $2.

RIVER [board cards 2D,8S,AH,4H,6C ]
aces r wildx bets $2, TheKentock calls $2.

Too weak postflop? Too strong preflop? I think both are possible, although my tentative read was that his preflop hand holdings were pretty diverse, and I had position. Anyway, please rip apart and help me learn this damn game.

I think I'd just call down the whole way. Preflop I don't usually do against an unknown with A9o but I don't think it's much of a problem.

Remove the xas from your hand history

What reasoning did you have to think he was on a steal? if you had some good reads that he was lag then good. If you just 3 bet with A9o because he COULD be on a steal, then bad

Without reads, this will be difficult, but I think you should call down. If you put the villan on a wide range of hands, then calling down will make him lose the most while losing you the least.

Converter problems or not, you could do a better job of typing up the hand if you honestly want people to spend time responding to your post. We have icons like [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] for a reason.
