Re: I play bad vol.1
Raise 4th street. Clear bet on 6th street as he'll gladly take the freebie with one pair or whatever or bet if he has your two pair beat, so a checkraise is kinda illogical on this street in my humble opinion. As played, pay off the end and expect to lose.

Re: I play bad vol.1
I dont think check-raising fourth is going to do anything but cost him more money, Jeff.

Re: I play bad vol.1
Yea, I misread the action and thought he was acting second (even then I understand a raise would be debateable). Checkraising is clearly incorrect. I need to get back to bed...sick as a dog home from work today.

So your opponent made kings up and they were good? [/ QUOTE ] Exactly. Were you like at the table or was it that obvious? |

Re: I play bad vol.1
Lol. How was the event today? Get any side action in? The funniest is I was a little under the weather yesterday and then I saw your post about calling in sick and thought about it...then I woke up REALLY sick. I woulda been dead money today in person, that's for sure (though I managed to win 1000 sitting here in my pajamas).

Re: I play bad vol.1
Yea, I think check-raising 4ht is a little over the top, but what about just donking him on 4th with your live spade to see what he will do? If he just calls 4th, and then checks his dead ace to you,& you decide to fire again, then he may have to fold when you bet 5th.
