Default \"Official\" Live at the Bike thread (9/27)

Tonight's show will be 300 min/500 max buyin NL featuring L@TB regulars Barry (not Greenstein) Woods, Ed, Ramsey and others.

Last night's game was a rather sedate 8/16 limit game, until "Big Mike" showed up in the game. Starting with $2000, "Big Mike" decides to play every hand, usually raising or re-raising blindly. These actions didn't make him any friends at the table. He didn't seem to mind, even telling they shouldn't be trying to run off the "fish". Other players at the table threw in their jabs at other players, with a fellow saying the older woman across from him (seat 1 to seat 9) was pregnant, which caused her to storm away from the table. Overall, a fun-filled table for those that may want to watch in the archives. Head to www.liveatthebike.com from 6-9pm PT to follow all the action.

I'd like to formally request that LATB moves the interesting shows to Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday when I can watch and move the boring shows to Monday and Wednesdays when I'm busy. I'm sure this will be done in a timely fashion.

If Big Mike hadn't of shown up, this would've been a very dull show.

Default Tuchman on ESPN today

Congrats to Dave Tuchman for being on ESPN's WSOP show today. there was a brief 5 second shot where it looks like Dave got bad beat. its about 10 minutes into the show.

Was there any Big Mike news after the show ended last night?

Hard to watch the first hour of this show with many big names on the WSOP show tonight. Funny to see Gus Hansen hovering over the money display.

I think we should throw in WSOP talk in this thread. I was surprised they didn't give Tilly more run on the first show tonight, but it was a decent way to combine the final tables of the two tournaments with Bonyadi and Chan.

The final table with Bonyadi was a jopke. I think the producers told them they better start jumping around and screaming or they wouldn't be shown at all with the other final tables going on.

I think the lower level finishers at that table were the typical just happy to be on TV types, especially the Pips and Steelers fans in the audience. They were going to be seen, but it certainly helped a few of them to act silly.
