I asked you last night how you were doing and you said "OK"...good stuff. Now should I post another whining post about losing 75BBs?

Yeah, I got just crushed at the 5/10 6-max last night. But I actually came away feeling pretty good about it and feeling pretty positive regarding some of the stuff I saw.

I think most people can recognize without 50 posts that raising with ducks UTG isn't the best idea....

Correct. This is clearly a limp/rr hand.

No, no, no. You only want to LRR with hands like 78s b/c it improves your implied odds.

Damn, this is my second post in this thread, and both are clearly useless. Is this what you're talking about Chief?

I just liked the irony of starting an entire useless thread partly regarding useless threads.

You'll find this towards the top right of a post. Click it and watch what happens.

Previous Index Next Flat

You can also set your profile up to view all threads in flat mode automatically.

Go to: My Home > Main Configuration > Display Preferences > Default Display Format

I assumed everyone did this - collapsed mode sucks!!

You'll always have not only newbies posting here on a regular basis, but also the casula poster who might check in every other day or so. So unless these "landmark posts" that your favorite guru makes are stickied, they will not even be seen most of the posters on this board. It's improtant not to gauge this board to those who hit the refresh button every 20 seconds.

Yes, but it's the more regular posters who really make the board what it is, good or bad. And a thread asking "how to play AA preflop" or "is 32% VPIP too loose" or something else fairly basic doesn't need to end up with a flame beside it unless there's really something more profound about it that people may have never considered. I in no way want to discourage any new posters from joining in. I was a new poster myself not that long ago.
