Default $5 + $1 Party Hand - Wait Until Next Hand??

Had been five handed for an unusually long time and the table had been acting as though we were on the bubble. Big stack showed no maniacal tendencies. The UTG limp was the only thing that concerned me but I'm gettin' awful desperate. Would YOU have waited until next hand and pushed any two?

Wait till you're first in, then push any two.

Wait, all-in standards should go up significantly when there is an early limper.

do you think this still applies when someone limps utg this late in the game? I think if its a normally solid player alarm bells should go off. This is a $5 so i guess anything goes.

I wait. And I don't necessarily push any 2 next hand.

It's OT, but way $5 + 1? 20% rake is more than I would like to pay. Isn't it better to choose a different site if your short of bankroll for $10 + 1?

Yeah a solid player could be trouble, but so could a poor player who doesn't understand that late confrontations are bad and may call very loosely, which is devastating to hero. Also, K6 isn't such a great hand to be raising in this spot without the limper.

You're right the rake is horrific and other sites have $5 games w/only 10% rake (UltimateBet & PokerStars). I just happen to have most of my money on Party right now (though that may change shortly).

If I pass on this one and get junk next hand I'll be in the blinds which (with no cards) will leave me with t525 (2.625BB). I suppose maybe I didn't pay enough mind to El Limpero.

Thanks for the feedback!
