Default are the days of pokerstars datamining gone now?

after putting out their new policy of not allowing star-spy anymore, are there any means of datamining on pokerstars besides getting the handhistories of tables, where you are playing yourself?i know, that you can use star-spy at your own risk for now,but i would not like to risk my bankroll on excercising this and also want to play according to their policy terms.
as it looks now, pokerstars has gained ground on partypoker and is not behind very much regarding their player base right now.could the new policy drive some players back to partypoker, where datamining via the observed handhistories is still possible?
are there any players out there, who still use star spy?i ask, because besides the posts of the creator of star spy regarding pokerstars new datamining policy, there hasnt been any official statement of pokerstars regardings this issue.or am i wrong on this assumption?

please tell me your opinions

'there hasnt been any official statement of pokerstars regardings this issue'

you're wrong - anything that gathers data on hands you didn't play is banned - they have stated this 100% crystal clear - this is moving in the opoposite direction to Party, UB and Prima - all networks that have become easier to data mine rather than harder..

If their bonus released at any sort of reasonable rate I'd still play there, but it doesn't so I don't..
