Couple of flop decisions

First hand, no real reads. Anyone raise this flop or call the turn? I figured since so many cards ruins me, one of which being the 5 that fell, I'd just call the flop and then wait for a safe turn to make a move.

Second hand. feel free to critique pre flop too. I figured getting an immediate 1:5 odds to see the flop, and since some people raise pretty thin on 6 max, it was worth a gander. And if I do hit a straight, most preflop raising hands pay off. I bet flop to try to isolate the preflop raiser since I was pretty sure I had the best hand atm, but when it came 3 bet back to me it got dicey. Is this flop call right, or should I have just folded? Once the club came the fold became pretty obvious, since button surely has me beat now.
