So this LAG bets into my blind, and I have 88...
Stars $3+R. Villain in this hand has a V$IP of 25% and a PFR of 12%. He's shown down UTG raises with KJs, and folded to re-raises several times. Can't find the hand history (damn you Pokerace), so this is from memory.
Hero and Villain are even-stacked at ~t50k, blinds are 600/1200/75. Villain is in MP and raises to 3600, and it's folded to Hero who has 88. Your move, Hero. As I see it my options: -Call. Lousy. Given his wide range, the only flop I like is one that gives me a set, or is 7-high. I'm not holding my breath on that one. -Fold. C'mon, give me a break. -Raise. How much? A push is too much. t10,000? It lets him know I'm pretty serious about this hand, and he may lay down. Then, if called, I polish up my luckbox bet out pretty much any flop. Thoughts? |
