While the games and stakes are somewhat dabateable, I believe we were talking $2-$4. Just be prepared for a $300 buy-in to be short stacked

Oh I know. I've seen those online 2+2 $0.50/$1 tables where people buy in for $8000

Yes, but I think it is so much more impressive in a live game where no player can see any other player because of the mounds of stacks of chips in front of them.

Imagine a $2-$4 game, 10 handed, with $10K on the table.

Oh yeah. Last January during a 2+2fest at the Taj, we had a specially spread pink chip game. If memory serves me correctly, ActionBob and Luv2DriveTT were essentially cut off by the cashier's cage

I sat in the game and had to buy chips from another player.
Fun stuff, man

Well I think we had 5k on the upstairs table the last time. I came in for 3 racks and had the second shortest stack!

Default Major announcement!! Magoo!!!!

The entire wednesday poker discussion group from Las Vegas has officially been invited to attend this prestigious event! Talk about your Ma-goos!

Plus, I'll tell you this, I've categorized everyone who's signed up so far, and tried to make appropriate categories to describe everyone. But all I can come up with that makes any sense is basically two categories...

"magoos"

and

"slackers"

Default important note

The "official" list is those who have personal messaged me, or sent me an email. If you haven't done that, you're not on the list. So get off your slack assess and send the message already, you friggin' magoos.

al

p.s. if you aint on the list and you show up the MGM has a plentiful supply of cattle prods to help you see the error of your ways

But where else can you get such a sharp looking memorial chip for a lousy $300?

[/ QUOTE ]

I would just like to say that any2cards has his priorities straight and his head screwed on right. The chips are righteous! A true collector's item.

but he's still a friggin' magoo.

Default Cage fill

I'm buying in for a grand

I've arranged for a special fill for the cage to accomodate us for this event. They'll be stocking about twice as many $1 chips as they usually have.
