Weeknight: play 8 hrs, get room for 40+tax+occupancy fee = about 50 total.

Weekend comes to like 140 total.

book in advance (a week at least) and be specific that you want a poker rate room when you book

thanks to both for the quick and helpful replies. I'll be out in June with a place to stay for most of that time but I'll need to stay in town a couple of days.

I reserved a room in late Aug for Thurs-Sat nights. The rate I was given was 100 for Thurs and 150 for Fri and Sat. I was told it was the poker rate even tho it sounds high for the Thursday night. I'm hoping that it is just the rate before discount for play kicks in but maybe they did up the rates for summer.

***just called and double checked that is the poker rate for those nights so they must have went up

AC rake rates are always higher in the summer. at the borg they can leverage prices even more than the competition because they are so "hot".

standard weeknights in June are currently $149, friday is $399 and saturday $459. yowza!

if you don't mind nearby Harrah's or Trump Marina, you can probably get half that, or even less if you are an existing players card member.

Yes, that is the poker rate. Used to be $125 on the weekend. Summer appears to have gone up.

The weeknights are always quoted at $100. You have to ask them to reduce it based on your play when you leave.

Stayed there about a month ago. When you ask for the poker rate you get quoted $100 (for a weeknight). You have to get them to call the cardroom when you're checking out to get them to reduce it further. I got it for $39 plus tax even though I only played about 6 hours.
