I played 1/2 NL for the first time in my life Saturday at the Trop. Was there about 8pm. Dropped $35 in a little under two hours. Won only one pot when I limped with 44, caught a 4 on the flop, raised to $40 in MP, and folded back to me. I am comfortable in NL tournament play, but definitely need more experience in ring play.

I played 1/2 NL at Casino WIndsor this past weekend and almost every single hand someone would raise to 12 total. There was no point in limping in cause I think I may have saw 4 total hands without a big raise pf. Also a player minriased to $4 with 3,8 and went off on a guy for calling with K,4. LOL cant get better than that.

When I played 1/2 at the Trop I was horrified at some of the calls as well. When I played it at the Borg the players seem to play better, but there are still bad players at that game. Many pots were raised preflop though.
