Ogg music files?

So my friend ( a mac using communist im sure) sent me some music but it isnt in MP3 format its in "ogg" format. I can play them with VLC but i want to put some of them on my mp3 player. Anyone know of something that will conver them?

1, free
2, no spyware

This dq's everything on the first like 30 google results which is why iw as looking for a req
