Default good apartments in vegas?

Hi - my apartment lease ends next month and I don't know where I am going to live afterwards. I am going to Vegas next week and am considering checking out some apartments to see if I'd be ineterested in living there.

Any suggestions?

There's some fine weekly motels on Fremont east of downtown

Stay where you are at. They are selling Condos that were at one time appartments for 100k+ for 1 bedroom.

Housing is awfull here. The new highrise conds are selling studios for 250k. Thats what the price is before they are even built

I'm sure housing is far from "awful" in Vegas. It certainly can't compare to California.

Sounds cheep compared to what we pay out here in NYC. I thought the Vegas housing market was increadible when I checked it out, but obviously the average person will get sticker shock when they see the newest strip condo prices.

Why does no one use good ol' google?

A friend of mine used to live in Vegas. He was telling me how incredibly cheap it was where he lived, and we're from the middle of nowhere in the Midwest. Of course, he also didn't live in some silly ass condo. If you're not afraid to live in proximity to non-white people, it is my understanding that you can find some very nice, very cheap places.

Where are you finding those? I want one. The new MGM and Aqua are selling for 450k + for studio all the way up to 1.5million.

I pay over 1k a month for my apartment in the southern part of the city. But it's a VERY nice area of the city to live in.

450 US a month for a thriving city. You better not have your roll on you when you step out of your apartment. Also expect to get solicitated by your neighbours when you cross the alley to get to your bus.........
