captain cooks casino
Hiya -
I kinda dove into the world of online casinos being without a lot of research. I play on captain cooks poker (prima) site, so I decided to give captain cooks casino a shot. They offer a nice 200% up to $200 bonus, so I figured I could try it with some leeway. I read through their terms and conditions and saw that I had to gamble 35 times the bonus amount to clear the bonus, which they put in a special bonus account for you. I did this, got a little lucky, won some along the way, and decided to cash out while I was ahead. The deal is you transfer from your bonus account into your normal account after you clear the bonus. I did this, and when I tried to withdraw, they said I had to wager it again in the regular account with the same conditions as the bonus account -- including my winnings and my deposit. If I'd known I had to gamble so much twice for the bonus, including any winnings, and that I'd couldn't withdraw my original stake at any point without gambling it, I wouldn't have done it. The end result is I'm going to have to gamble $24,500 before I qualify for anything (35 * (100 + 200 + 200)) + (35 * 200). Their terms and conditions are pretty unclear to me. Is this normal and was I being naive? Eric |

Re: captain cooks casino
I personally try to avoid any of the online casinos which require you to wager a multiple of both the deposit AND bonus before redemption (as opposed to just a multiple of the bonus itself). a WR format like captain cooks works out to be 70x the bonus amount which is too high IMO. you can still find good signup deals in the 20x-25x range, though you always have to be very careful reading the T&C to make sure.
read my long reply to this old thread below for a little more help on this topic. there are a couple more very knowledgeable casino whore veterans on this board (Homer in particular) who can provide more insight to you down the line: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/sh...Number=1425377 |

Re: captain cooks casino
Thanks for the info.
Yeah, I recommend avoiding this one. If ya deposit $100, that money is basically theirs until you gamble around 18K... |
