Here's a ~25K one I went through last month. It started the day after the Party split. I never believed they existed until I went through it.

Whenever I click on graph it says, "No data matched your criteria", what does this mean?

I know this is not what you want to hear, but 20,000 hand stretches where you lose money will continue to happen and 200 big bets downswings will continue to happen. I'm assuming your a full ring player, if you played shorthanded I don't think your graph would look this nice.

Hopefully, every time this happens to you you'll handle it a little better. Good luck.

Thanks, that's not what I wanted to hear, but what I was expecting.

Thanks to the others who posted their slumps too.

The guy who first taught me the game had one of these prolonged droughts and quit the game for good. He had lost faith in the cards and himself. It was tempting to do the same during mine (60 straight days of nothing but losses), but I knew that if I kept playing, things had to turn around (unless Party cursed my account!). I also told myself I couldn't quit because of the huge investment in time and effort I've put into the game.

I play full-ring $2-4 on Party, btw.

Try downloading it from here if you havent already. There was some bug in a newer version of Pokertracker. Link

Not sure if that will do the trick but its worth a shot.

Default 325K hands of variance

Lots of 1-200BB swings along the way. And yes, downswing in the end is ~400BB.

0 to ~75K was 0.5/1 to 5/10
75K to ~170 was 15/30 & 20/40
170K to 250K was 20/40 and 30/60 (flat... no edge?)
250K to 300K was 15/30 (to rebuild confidence from the big flat section)
300K to 315K 20/40 (feelin good about last 50K hands, so I go back to 20/40.. latest swing starts)
315K - 325K 15/30 (swing continues, but I'm going to play through it at 15/30)

edit: oops i mean i've had slumps over 30k hands of nl, over 500k played total. nl is less swingy than limit, so dont underestimate variance in this game.

That looks like a fun time from hand 190k to ~270k.

not that I don't enjoy looking at variance graphs (I actually do for some reason) but you guys do know that there's a bad-beats and variance forum now right?

this thread with various people posting graphs highlighting their downswings probably belongs over there I imagine.

Any difference in BB size and/or buyin size. Game change any? I'd like to avoid this myself, any tips appreciated.

Thanks,
Pete
