Default General discussion of check-raising.

I ran into a player last night who check-raised a lot. It got me to thinking maybe I don't use this play enough. Looking through SSH and HPFAP this morning 'check-raise' and 'check-raised' is in the index 47 times and 69 times.

PT tells me the following(sample size 39k):

First action on flop after a preflop raise:
check-raise 20/3160 = 0.63%

Check-raise 347 times. % of possible actions = 1.76%
Flop = 48% Turn = 42% River = 10%

I realize there are many specific situations and a general discussion is not simple here. Anyone care to share your stats?
