Default Good laydown or fishy SDM? (hand)

I have officially stopped playing Stud at Party. All the tables I join I recognize the names as being "regulars" and the tables are very rocky, this Party split has seemingly killed Stud a little at 2/4, at least the times I play.

Anyway, In between losing my money to the fulltime pros, heres a laydown I didn't like making but what are you gonna do?

I think you have to fold in this spot, the odds that he alreasy has the flush or that he will hit the flush are way to high
even getting 5:1 for your immediate pot odds, which will actually be about 3:1 since i'm pretty sure he'll bet the river and if you call 6th your not folding 7th, its just not worth it to me

If you can't beat Party 2-4, which I play all the time, you are not a very good stud player. I'm sorry. It may make you mad. You may think I'm being arrogant. But I'm not a pro (I doubt there are any playing these games, at least in the sense of making serious $$$). Don't play crap hands, don't fold made straights. Just play solid poker -- tight on the early streets call 6th and river if you get there with any kind of hand and you will beat this game. I'm sure Roland or Lstream or Mike Emery would tell you the same. Play a little better, be more aggressive and target your buddies and you will crush it. I think this game is so good right now, I've moved down from 3-6 to play it.

Don't fold made hands heads up. Even in cases like this when it seems likely that you are beat. Andy B would call this down with two pair.

I kind of like the call on 4th, providing you were going to fold without improving on 5th. I can't really see why it's a big mistake to call a small bet with a gutshot if its OK to call a big bet on 5th when you're open-ended. 7CSFAP suggests you should play a broadway gutshot all the way to the river, after all.

Your logic is way off, even though the call on fourth may be okay.

Reconsidering this, I think the dead nine makes this a fold on fourth. I'm very good at missing dead cards in these posts.

Anyone who has to move DOWN from $3-6 to crush a game just sucks.
