Quick suggestion to make things a little simpler...you're in a 10 handed game where a good thinking player open raises from EP...no one else has come into the pot...fold preflop.

Bob, ChrisDaddyCool and I have the kind of friendship where he openraises with 75o and tries to isolate raise me with J4s.

against my range of hands i'll tilt/boredom raise with in 3/6 (which happens a lot), this isn't as clear of a fold as you'd think.

I second Bob S.'s sentiments. Fold pre-Flop.

Post-Flop is all a matter of your knowing his folding points, how he's likely to react to your Turn raise with specific hands, etc. If you think you can get him to lay down a better hand, go for it. But, next time don't get involved with a better hand to begin with. And, also remember how much money you're investing to get him to lay down a better hand post-Flop compared to the pot size. Of course, it's another issue if you actually think you have the best hand...

Folding for Bison here really isn't an option with CDC as the open raiser.

Hi bison,

So, CDC open-raises 75o from EP often in full 3/6 ring games?

let me just say, this was a close decision between 3-betting/folding/calling down for me... probably in that order

guys, I routinely fold AJ and AQ to preflop raises. This is not a hand about preflop.

This is chris we're talking about. I know that against your typical non-maniac AJs is a pit of dominated despair.
