PT or POKEROFFICE
Whats up guys, I was wondering if there are any advantages that pokeroffice has over pt since u can import pt databases and live trackwer vs auto hand loading. I was wondering if pokeroffice has recommended moves and percent villain has bluff raised b4 etc. Any suggestions, also whats this POkerstove I keep hearing about????

Re: PT or POKEROFFICE
I am also curious to hear about the differences. PokerOffice looks pretty cool but I just plunked down $55 for PT. I'd hate to see that PokerOffice has more features, because it looks like it has all of the PT stuff. More people on here tend to use PT though.

Re: PT or POKEROFFICE
Pokerstove is a program, which counts your propability to win in situations you gave him.
example: you say it to count your propability for AA with 2 players on a flop like: 9K9 if someone holds A9 and another goy is holding a random hand. Then he will give you 48% (I dont know if 48 is correct, I doesnt use stove. this number is only to complete the example) |

I was [/ QUOTE ] I looked at po back at r1.3 and was fairly unimpressed (compared to pt that is). When I checked his forum and read some posts I was a little shocked at how many basic things it seemed to be missing and was more like a work in progress. IMO pt is for working with your own game and po seems to be more for playing online. [/ QUOTE ] The way I look at it you can either learn poker yourself or learn a software program that will do for you things you should be learning to do yourself. Playing online maybe there's an argument for that (like if you're skillful enough to play $30/60 and just want an aid). But if you're ever in a card room or casino you'll be lost without your software... Mike |

Re: PT or POKEROFFICE
I agree. Additionally isn't there a littler concern about breaking various TOSes with PokerOffice?

Re: PT or POKEROFFICE
I believe PokerOffice is far superior during play; in addition to statistics and odds it also provides the betting history for the ongoing hand.
Also, now you can get it for free if you sign up with empire poker. |
