Capping that river is atrocious, i generally dont think you want this many bets going in unless your opponents suck.

vegas has some crazy rules. for example:

in the mirage, in a multiway pot, betting is UNCAPPED ONLY if its the 3rd bet that knocks out all but two players. so if one player has already put in 3 bets and folds to the 5 bet, the betting is capped at 5 bets. this was an actual ruling i witnessed (at my table- i was the one who folded to the 3bet) at the mirage at the 40/80 game there.

i doubt the floor at the bellagio is as bad as the floor can be at times at the mirage, however,
