Re: Trip Q\'s what to bet on turn
Disagree weaker Q's fold to a flop raise or turn raise. You have position use it.

Re: Trip Q\'s what to bet on turn
1/3-1/2 pot or so and fold to a push. Nothing very wrong to just check behind either.

Re: Trip Q\'s what to bet on turn
By not raising flop you are letting him take the control of the hand, how are so sure he has a Q, and if so it's better than yours? I think the best line is using your position putting pressure on your opponent to make a decision and help you gain info on the strenght of his hand. Your line is passive.

Re: Trip Q\'s what to bet on turn
Depends on the amount of the CR and my read/past encounters with villian. IF he CR my stack, it is really tough decision, probably fold and live to fight another day.

[ QUOTE ]
It allows weaker Q's to get off their hand later on and stronger ones to suck me in for a large chunk of change. [/ QUOTE ] So you think your opponent is limping with the hand like Q6 from the small blind, but at the same time is capable of letting it go, when flopping trip queens. I have yet to meet someone like that... |

Re: Trip Q\'s what to bet on turn
Actually, I think a 10 does with a lot of villians. In fact, a lot of Queens try to slow play this (even with such a dinky pot - weird).
A decent Villian probably bets this out, especially if he suspects that you don't believe him. |
