Oh, God. You guys act as if Greg always has a made hand whenever he gets his money in.

How many all-in hands was he behind in this year and last year that he won?

You take two or three of those last year and put Greg on the losing side of those and no one would even be talking about him right now.

[/ QUOTE ]
Could you post the hands where Raymer cold-called PF and then called the flop for runner-runner to win?

[/ QUOTE ]

The flop was checked.

SMALL raise pre-flop, and the checked-through flop.

I don't remember him ever being all in as a big dog and sucking out. I remember him winning coinflips and like two hands where he was 4:1 and 3:1. Both of which when he had a big chip lead and could afford to make these calls. Be quiet.

.. Looks like the end of the road for Raymer.. What a bunch of bullshit...

[/ QUOTE ]

Keep the faith! He might be out of practice playing the short stack but he still has a little breathing room.

Cardplayer says the flop was bet. I guess we really won't know how bad the play was until we see it on TV.

By the time the guy had to invest any amount of real money he had his draw. He probably knew he was behind but had a 1/5 chance of doubling up and all but busting one of the strongest 3 players left, thus improving his chances of winning it all by a great deal.

A bad play still, but that was probably his reasoning.

He basically needs to win some coinflip situations very very soon to have breathing room.

Seriously. Be a pro and take it like a man. I'm sure Raymer did. I mean, I feel bad for him too but suckouts like that are the reason the tourney is so soft etc etc etc.

[/ QUOTE ]

Dude, what are you talking about? I do not feel bad for him or for anyone else who gets sucked out on. I could also care less if he was the one who sucked out the KK if he held QJ.

Objectively speaking, unless it's me or one of my horses in the event I could care less who wins.

Lawrence
