No employer would care enough to know about high school rankings. I could see his grades maybe counting for something, but not the actual high school.

If he doesn't mind "takin an adventure" and doing some manual labor he can come up to alaska next april. Plenty of jobs where he will take hom 6-8 thousand a month.

Sales.

The vast majority of Americans hate the idea of trying to sell something. Many people would rather work for minimum wage at McDonalds than be a car salesman or a telemarketer so the jobs are easy to get and pay well.

I work in a telemarketing office for a resort. I have 8 phone sales agents. They have no marketable skills, just the ability to read and speak. Each makes a minimum of $500 a week, and my top agent takes home $1500 a week. He's a 21 year old high school dropout that never made more than $6 an hour before he started here.

That's not huge money, but it's pretty good when you figure that the average pay here is pretty low. Plus, we never work more than 30 hours a week.

I've worked in staffing before and I can verify this.

Did anyone else read the OP title and someone think it said 'Below average blowjobs,' thinking this thread was about something entirely different?

I believe he may be talking about the commercial fishing industry in alaska, I've seen some stuff about it on A&E type programs, doesn't look that desirable considering alot of these people actually die on the job.
