Default How good was Johnny Moss?

How good a poker player was Johnny Moss? If he were alive, would he be able to hold his own in a debate on poker strategy with Ed Miller?

Clearly Green Lantern would get torched by Superman. Duh.

he was 1.383% percent better at hold'em, but he was 4.8946% better at stud. But there is an error of +/- .005

Moss played a different game against different opponents in an age of different technology and information. He probably wouldn't recognise the game today. But I bet he could figure it out pretty quick.

To use an old cliche that applies in most fields of study, guys like Ed Miller can see farther because they stand on the shoulders of guys like Johnny Moss and Doyle Brunson and David Sklansky.

But the bottom line is that Moss couldn't debate Miller, because Moss didn't go to MIT

But what if he was using the technology that Batman used to kill Superman in Dark Knight Returns? In that situation Johnny Moss would be a 10% underdog versus Chris Moneymaker.

The Frank Miller one? It's been 15 years since I've looked at that but didn't Batman fake his own death?

Writing one book about poker and knowing the math behind does not mean you are as good a poker player as a legend.

Yeah, I only vaguely remember Superman being evil (and nuked), a kryptonite suit, Green Arrow shooting Superman to further weaken him, and Dan Harrington and Hunter S Thompson stomping Johnny Moss at the first Super Bowl of Texas Hold Em.
