Default 50 NL TT hand

villian is loose passive preflop and agressive post flop. first hand villian had raised this session. His agressiveness post flop tells me he would make a c-bet with an unimproved AK-AQ, but his passiveness preflop and his flop reraise tells me i'm probably up against a bigger pair here. Do I call the all in getting ~3-1 on the call or lay this down?

I would bet out this flop instead of check raise. See what the villian does. If he comes back at you hard evaluate his hand range and procede.

As it is you are commited to this pot. Either Push here or open push the turn. At least then you have fold equity.

you re-raised too much on the flop. You NEED to push seeing as how you committed half of your stack to an overpair against an aggressive opponent. I would suggest maybe even calling and leading a non scary turn, and if you get raised, you can be pretty sure that you are beat. If Villian is going to call w/ AK anyway (and he could very well have a hand such as JJ+, I think its a good idea to see a brick on the turn and bet into him and fold to a raise.

stacks are to short/pot is too big to call flop bet/fold turn.

At this point you are either way ahead or way behind, the bottom line is that you are commited to the pot, the only question is when to push.
