We're only talking about hands we limp behind with?

ATo, KJ/KTo, QJ/QTo, JTo
A9s-A2s, K9s, QTs/Q9s, JTs-J8s.

Anything better than that range I raise with.

[/ QUOTE ]

I'd raise the Axs, QTs and JTs here almost always. (A maniac in the blinds would be a deterrent.)

Warning: following these pf guidelines will increase your variance.

suited-
i can go as low as A5s, K8s, Q8s, J7s if the game is right(if it is tougher i may raise my requirements to A8s, K9s, Q9s, J9s).

offsuit-
can go as low as A8o, K9o, Q9o, J9o if the game is right.

i will raise most stronger hands, or may limp as the table dictates.

Why on Earth wouldn't you limp with any Axs and even smaller Kxs?

Perhaps with your offsuits, but I can't see how playing tighter with Axs than everyone else can increase your variance.

this is tough for me because i don't have a default limping range. it is all predicated on the table conditions, how i have been running, how my opponents view me, etc. i just threw out a range for the fun of it. i may even raise or fold some of the hands i mentioned. with that many limpers i may limp smaller suited Aces and Kings, but not always. i tried to find a happy medium between my lagtastic heart and my Tagish brain. oh and by the way, any time you increase your pf starting range you are increasing the effect of variance, but you know this.

What I meant was that you starting range in that scenario was smaller than many others, thus decreasing the variance

A8, K9, J8, Q9, all suited Kings, Q6s+, J7s+. I'm raising lots of my (suited) connectors.
