Default How did I play this hand?

I've played one orbit and don't have any reads on villain. Do you think the turn bet was too small? I figured I was probably way ahead and didn't want villain to fold, but now that I think about it there were a lot of cards I didn't want to see on the river.

Also, what is the standard river play here with no reads?

Thanks.

You gave him nice implied odds if he hits the river. Your check showed weakness and villain took advantage. Better to make a blocking bet on the river of $15-$20 and then you can feel better about folding if villain comes over the top. All you can do here is over charge him for his draw and then not pay him off when he hits it.

I bet $10 or $11 on the turn. He most likely has a flush draw followed by Ax. I doubt he's folding either on the turn, so you must charge him to draw. Heck, I sometimes mix this up and pot it.

Pot the turn. You're never way ahead here. If has an ace he has 7 outs if he has a flush draw he has 9- 12 outs.

Fold the river. People are deathly afraid of flushes and he would likely check behind this river with anything you beat. Instead of checking the river consider leading out for 1/2-2/3 pot with the intention to fold to a raise. You'll get some crying calls and it saves you from tough decisions like this one.
